Retail Operations Manager, Retail Division

Purpose of the Role
Drive day to day operational management in the store with sharp focus on customer service and inventory management and drive actions that would positively influence sales and profitability of the store.

Educational Qualification
Post Graduate in Retail Management / MBA – Sales / marketing /
working knowledge of MS office

Age Group
30 to 40 years

Experience in Years
5 -7 years of relevant experience

Areas of Expertise
Play a critical role in managing 6 to 8 stores under his direct supervision.

Essential skills required in man management, store operations, deploy business plan, drive monthly target, conduct & review meetings with store manager; lead a team of 10 -15  people in the store. 

Preferred Experience
At least 5-6 years of work experience in Retail Industry,
understanding of brands / competition brands.

Gulf experience of 2 or more years is mandatory

Key Accountabilities
Responsible for day to day operational management of the stores under his direct supervision, lead & manage store team, ensure adherence to store operating process, ensure flawless customer service in the store, cash sales reconciliation, deposit and reporting, daily store ordering process, follow and effort for optimum in-stock in stores, ensure merchandising in the store, control damage & expiry in the store.
Escalate operational issues to business head.
Safeguard & ensure timely maintenance of store assets.
Drive operation that would positively influence sales and profitability of the store. .
Identify and research potential markets and advise Business Head of new opportunities.
Plan the distribution and logistics process including identifying the export requirements
Accept responsibility for all market sales, key performance indicators, trade and marketing calendar that underpin the annual territory business plan.
Introduce credit management processes.
Set merchandising and pricing strategies in line with local marketplace.
